Foundations

With an entrepreneurial spirit and eye on the tourist boom taking place in Spain, Sammic began manufacturing potato peelers in 1961. Within 15 Years, Sammic's Expansion and Diversification had established a sales subsidiary and a manufacturing company, Danamac. This development allowed Sammic to expand its product line to various food preparation devices like the planetary mixer, and expanded its reach to 5 major Spanish cities, improving customer service and market presence.

Peladora is Spanish for “potato peeler”. This Peladora is one of the original products launched by Sammic.

Now

Since then, Sammic has grown to a workforce of 200+ people, more than 2,000 product items, a direct presence in 11 countries and exports to more than 130 countries across the 5 continents.

Sammic offers a variety of dynamic food prep equipment as well as preservation and sous-vide products.
